This photo was taken on 01/30/2006 on a surprisingly warm day. I left work at lunch time to run over to the hardware store and was so captivated by the warmth at the end of January that I simply kept going eventually arriving at North Beach, Maryland. I stopped at a small park overlooking Herrington Harbor and took this picture. In the distance the fog is still thick on the water as a quick breath of spring shocks the Chesapeake Bay. The image was compelling enough to eventually find it's way onto the front cover.
